These two were left last Saturday at the Merritt Island Library. They are "child sized". One with sparkles for a little princess. The other finished in leather and has a flame pattern - appropriate for a young warrior.
FLIP FLOP DROP
This blog is dedicated to the random act of kindness to "drop your flops" somewhere that a passerby will notice and adopt. All you need to do is alter or embellish a pair of flip flops, tag them with links to this blog, drop them off somewhere in public and watch the magic happen! This is an ongoing project that will bring lots of smiles and joy to young and old!

February Flops
These two pair were left at Kiwanis Island Park in Merritt Island, FL., over the weekend. They were each near the entrance to the Rock and Gem Show entrance. Perhaps they brought a smile to the faces of their finders.
Dreaming of spring -
In cold and snowy Michigan: Look here for Flip Flops in the snow. Scroll down a bit! That's my new friend Judy's feet in the snow wearing flip flops and hoping for the spring thaw! I also sent her a pair and some bits of fabric. She promises to drop some flops this spring.

Going to Michigan
. . . to Judy. She found this blog on an e-mail I posted to a YAHOO group we belong to. There was four feet of snow at her house when I heard from her. So today I mailed her this pair. It came with the cheery polka dots and orange flower. So with a bit of fabric and cool buttons, they are winging their way to Michigan.
Join us!
Grab a pair, embellish wildly and drop a little sunshine into someones path.

DROP your FLOPS
Here's how you can play...
Alter or enhance a pair of flip flops. They should remain wearable. Then post a comment to let us know you're playing. Here are some ready to be dropped.
Now - for the surprise part: Leave your altered flip-flops in a place someone will find them. Attach a note giving a link to this blog. Just for fun, let us know where you dropped your flops.
This can be on-going, no deadlines, just for fun.
To help you get started, there are some links to the right. And scroll down to see some already dropped.
